❤️❤️Adopt Myles!❤️❤️
Sweet * Affectionate * loving
Loves humans and other cats (Not sure about dogs)
Myles is a sweet and affectionate 10 y/o male who has adjusted well to indoor life. He spends most of his day sunbathing and watching daytime TV.
Myles was found outside during the cold snap last December. He was underweight and in pretty bad shape. He was limping, had multiple bite wounds on his front legs, and a large abscess on his back foot. This abuse/neglect caused anxiety. Thankfully, he has calmed down quite a bit after a few months of regular meals, love, and vetting. Myles needs daily medication for anxiety (not expensive). He takes this willingly inside a pill pocket.
Myles is now very laid back and affectionate with humans. His favorite activity is watching late Nite TV with his foster mom and getting head rubs. Myles is food motivated and is learning some tricks (for treats of course!)
Due to his time on the street, Myles ended up with FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus). As a result, his immune system is a little weak. All that means for you is that she needs some extra love and care, such as keeping up with yearly vet exams and watching to make sure she doesn't pick up any infections. He’s currently very healthy and happy, and will continue to be in a loving, low-stress home. Most FIV+ cats do not show symptoms, and studies have shown they have a normal life expectancy. FIV is not contagious to humans and does not spread to other cats through normal contact.
Myles craves human attention and would prefer humans that are home more often than not. He likes other cats but would be ok as an only cat.
Myles will need to be an indoor-only cat and cannot live with cats that are allowed to go outside.
Myles is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, tested for FIV/FeLV (FIV+, FeLV-), and up-to-date on all of his vaccinations!❤️❤️
