Boots and Leo are very affectionate and usually sleep up on the bed with us (which my Lucky always did too...our Bubbles was a little more aloof...) 

Actually right after I took these photos Leo walked right under Dunkin (one of our 2 Goldens; Luna is the one in the pics) to get to the tree...then went nose to nose.  We've introduced them slowly at their pace...they are all doing great!  The Goldens are used to cats because we had them before.  In fact Dunk went through a bit of a "depression" when my Lucky died (I kept taking him to the vet for lethargy...they said he was just sad).  So the doggies are I think really happy to have the cats...but are doing great curbing their enthusiasm and not scaring them.
