He was my best friend for 12 years and, of all the pets I’ve ever had, my absolute favorite. His name was Pepe Le Pew, so named by his foster mom because of his black and white coloring. He was a special needs kitty, one of three that I had that were known collectively as The Wobblies. His cerebellar hypoplasia made him walk like a drunkard and fall over at the drop of a hat, but he’d just shake himself off and get back up and keep going. It was his sweet and loving personality, though, that made him truly special. No words can describe the bond that we had. I feel so fortunate to have been his caretaker while he was here on earth, and I wait eagerly for the day when we will be together again.
